“Corrivate portrays both an additive and subtractive approach while looking for an inner musicality to shape sound materials into a larger form. From my perspective I can hear separate streams of ideas and influences coming together in surprising ways, as well as periods of void in the overall structure. The changes in texture help me to stay interested and organized during the composition process as I develop sketches into further arrangements.” - Duolant

Duolant: a word play on undulant (e.g.waves) and duo - in collaboration with the various machines and processes that make this music possible.

Duolant is a producer based in Portland, OR, releasing electronic music traversing the genres of classic synth, indie and lo-fi. At the center of this music is melodic writing characterized by sparse vocal lines, an array of synths, acoustic instruments and various sound treatments. Previous projects by the artist have explored the realms of psych-folk, post-rock and electroacoustic composition.
